Trip Information:

• ACTIVITY
  • Midlothian Day Parade on Saturday Morning @ 9:00am in Midlothian Village
  • Family Dinner on Saturday Evening @ 5:30pm 
  • Fall Court of Honor on Saturday Evening @ 7:00pm
  • Order of the Arrow Callout Ceremony on Saturday Immediately after Court of Honor
  • PICKUP & DROPOFF are both at Bethel Baptist Church
  • We will be camping at Camp Parsons in Cumberland, VA
• FOOD
  • All scouts should eat dinner before arrival or bring food with them for Friday night -- the Troop DOES NOT provide a meal for Friday night
  • The Troop will provide dinner on Saturday evening before the Court of Honor for EVERYONE in Camp Parsons
  • Family and guests camping at Camp Parsons are responsible for all their other meals during the weekend

• UNIFORM/CLOTHING REQUIREMENTS
  • Full Class A uniform for traveling to/from camp site and for ALL of Saturday's activities
    • Scout pants or shorts
    • Class A uniform shirt
    • Scout socks
    • Scout belt
    • Neckerchief & Slide
    • Merit Badge Sash
    • Order of the Arrow Sash (if you are in OA)
  • BRING and WEAR appropriate clothing and accessories -- PAY ATTENTION TO THE WEATHERIf you do not already have a Red Class B Troop 800 T-shirt, they are available for purchase on the Troop website
  • If you need asisstance obtaining a uniform, please check the swap drawer in the Scout Office or ask Mr. Newman or Mr. Bright and we can help you
  • You MUST wear close-toed shoes -- Remember, Crocs are no longer allowed to be worn on our camping trips EXCEPT as shower shoes

I approve the sharing of the information on this electronic registration with BSA volunteers and professionals who need to know of medical situations that might require special consideration for the safe conducting of Scouting activities.

In case of an emergency involving me or my child, I understand that every effort will be made to contact the individual listed as the emergency contact person. In the event that this person cannot be reached, permission is hereby given to the medical provider selected by the adult leader in charge to secure proper treatment, including hospitalization, anesthesia, surgery, or injections of medication for me or my child. Medical providers are authorized to disclose to the adult in charge examination findings, test results, and treatment provided for purposes of medical evaluation of the participant, follow-up and communication with the participant's parents or guardian, and/or determination of the participant's ability to continue in the program activities.
