This is the same high quality mulch we have sold in past years, delivered directly to your home or business FREE of charge.
We may make limited deliveries on Friday, March 21st, 2025, but the majority of orders will be delivered on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025 and/or Sunday, March 23rd if needed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can you give me an exact time of delivery?
A: Your mulch will be delivered between 7:00am and 7:00pm on Saturday, March 21, 2026. We CANNOT provide you with an exact time.
Q: My neighbors already have theirs -- Why hasn't my mulch been delivered yet?
A: Your mulch will be delivered between 7:00am and 7:00pm on Saturday, March 21, 2026. Be patient. We will get to you. We usually have almost 30,000 bags to deliver in one day, including yours.
Q: I ordered the Mulch Spreading Service -- What time will you be back to spread my mulch?
A: We DO NOT spread mulch on the weekend of delivery. You will be contacted within 10 days of delivery directly by the scout(s) assigned to your account by phone or email to arrange a time to spread your mulch. The sooner you respond to them, the sooner they can be there.
Q: Can I order Red, Brown or Black dyed mulch?
A: Unfortunately, due to logistical reasons, we are only able to sell the plain double-shredded hardwood mulch. It is a natural dark brown when it comes out of the bag and dries out to a pleasing natural light brown color. It IS NOT dyed mulch and will fade slightly as it dries out.
Mulch Spreading Service
During the order process, you will be asked if you would like to request our Mulch Spreading Service. For $1.75/bag (paid directly to the scout at the time of service), our Scouts will come to your home and spread the mulch you have purchased in your flower beds, around trees, in playgrounds or wherever else you want it to go. In return, the money they earn goes directly into a special account specifically for the scouts doing the work, which they are allowed to use for anything Scouting related, including paying for Summer Camp, High Adventure trips, etc., so your support of this endeavor is GREATLY appreciated by everyone involved. These boys are trying to EARN their way, which is a very valuable trait in today's world. If you choose this option, you will be contacted AFTER your mulch has been delivered to your home and you will pay the boys who do the work directly at the time of service.
The mulch spreading services DOES NOT include cleaning out your flower beds or yard prior to spreading your mulch. If you also need this type of work done, you will need to negotiate payment directly with the Scout(s) doing the work. Please make any checks payable to Scouting America Troop 800.
